Raven opened her eyes, taking in her
surroundings. Sun rays peeked through the window causing her to squint. Once
her eyes adjusted to the brightness of the sun’s early light, she focused on a
Canary that was singing its little heart out from a tree limb right outside of
her window. Losing herself within her own thoughts, she thought back to a night
which still haunts her; a night five years in the past.
[“Shaheed, I don’t want to be alone
tonight, or any other night. Don’t go back out”, Raven exclaimed. Stay with me
and let’s have a future together. You can do other things; legal things. Let me
awaken in the morning, to you holding me.”
The load of Raven’s words bore
heavily on Shaheed’s shoulders. On one side, the woman he loved beckoning him
for what he could see as a well flourished life, and on the other, the
pavements that he’s spent years etching his name into. He stood motionless,
with his face perplexedly aging before Raven’s eyes…..
Fatigued, Raven collapsed onto
Shaheed, concealing the lone tear that escaped her eye. Shaheed held on to her,
embracing her warm naked body into his strong but loving grasp.
It was late. Smiling as she rested in
the arms of an exhausted Shaheed, Raven slowly drifted to sleep with thoughts
of a secure future with the man she loved. Moments later, she was awakened by a
strange feeling. Turning over, she strained her eyes to focus, and noticed
Shaheed getting dressed. No words were spoken between them. Raven moved slowly
to get up. She put on her robe, and walked Shaheed to the door. The two kissed
before Shaheed exited into the night. Saddened, Raven shut and locked the door,
knowing that not only did Shaheed exit her apartment, but her life as well.]
“Raven. Raven!”
Raven snapped out of her thoughts and
back into the real world. A man of pecan complexion, with a medium build and no
signs of muscle separation, was looking down at her. His facial expression was
that of concern.
“Have you heard anything that I said,
babe? What were you in such deep thought about?”
“Oh. Huh? What did you say?”
“I asked if you want me to fix you
some breakfast before I head out the door.”
“No honey, I’ll be fine. I’ll eat
later when I get out of bed. You have a good day at work and I’ll see you when
you get home.”
At that moment, Dwayne, Raven’s
husband of the last year and a half, kissed his wife and left for work.
Dwayne worked as a freelance
contractor for a few businesses in town. He was not of the wealthy, but he
wasn’t bad off neither. He and Raven had met about a year after the Shaheed
ordeal. It took him a while, but he convinced Raven to give him the opportunity
of being with her. The two dated and down the line were married in front of family
and friends. He moved Raven out of her apartment in the city and into a quiet
suburban neighborhood.
Later that evening, Raven scurried
around the house. Dwayne had called her earlier, informing her that a potential
client will be joining them for dinner. He told her not to worry about cooking
dinner because he would pick up take-out on his way home.
“Baby I’m home”, Dwayne blasted.
“I’m almost ready. I’ll be down
shortly.” Raven finished getting herself together and headed downstairs.
Approaching the end of the stairwell, she could hear two voices; two very
familiar voices. Entering the den, where the voices were coming from, Dwayne
greeted her with a hug and kiss.
“Baby, let me introduce you to a
childhood friend of mine. This is….”
Before Dwayne could complete his
sentence, the man that he was talking to turned around, holding one of Raven
and Dwayne’s wedding pictures in his hand. Raven’s mouth dropped and her knees
buckled. Dwayne caught her and helped her to regain her balance.
“Raven, are you alright?”
“Yes, yes” Raven replied as she
regained her composure.
Dwayne looked at Raven. “This is my
friend and potential client, Shaheed. Shaheed, this is my wife Raven.”
“It’s a pleasure to finally meet you,
Mrs. Dickson” Shaheed responded without taken his eyes off of Raven.
“Same here” Raven coolly replied,
“but, please call me Raven.”
“Raven, it is.”
The three ate the takeout that Dwayne
had picked up on his way home. Shaheed and Dwayne talked about the times they
spent together growing up on some of the roughest streets of the city. Every so
often, they would bring Raven into the conversation. She was tense and a bit
uncomfortable in her own home. Memories of her and Shaheed raced through her
mind. This could not be happening.
Later that night, after Shaheed left,
Dwayne, took a shower, then joined Raven in bed. Her back was to him, but by
the way his man-hood was pressing against and poking her, she knew exactly what
he wanted. She was not in the mood. Too much had happened that day and she was
trying to get Shaheed off her mind, but just couldn’t fathom to do so. She told
Dwayne that that she wasn’t feeling to well. Soon, he was fast asleep, leaving
her up with an erratic mind.
As weeks passed, things got back to
normal. Shaheed’s presence was no longer felt, and Raven’s thoughts of him had
pretty much vanished. That was until Raven got a phone call one day from a
number that was not programmed in her phone. It was Shaheed. He had stolen her
number out of Dwayne’s cell phone while the two of them were out conducting
business. Raven’s first reaction was to hang up, but something did not allow
her to. She pleaded for Shaheed to leave her alone as he tried to get her to
hear him out about how much he misses her and wanted to be with her. These
calls from Shaheed went on for weeks until Raven agreed to meet with him under
the notion that afterwards, he would leave her alone, as well as end all
business affairs with her husband.
On the day of the initial meeting,
Raven made sure that she dressed down and put on no type of fragrance. She did
not want to pique Shaheed’s interest any more than it already was. The two met
in broad daylight, in a public area where they talked while having lunch.
Shaheed’s idea of conversation was bringing up memories of their past. Raven
tried changing the subject and blocking him out, but the more Shaheed spoke,
the more his words touched her in places that they shouldn’t have.
Raven had a soft spot for Shaheed and
he was slowly but surely getting to that spot. The wall that she had built up
concerning him was crumbling. She had to retreat before her vulnerability
showed. She rose from the table in which they sat and informed Shaheed that his
time was up and he was not successful at what he was trying to do. He simply
nodded as a notion that he will keep his end of the bargain. He paid for their
lunch and insisted on walking Raven to her car.
Raven was parked in a dimly lit
corner on the northern end of the parking deck. As they approached, her car
beeped, unlocking the doors. Shaheed opened the driver’s door for her. Before
she could enter the car, he grabbed her swiftly by the waist and pulled her
into him, shoving his tongue into her mouth. Raven pushed at him, but the more
she struggled, the tighter he held on to her. Then the tighter he clenched her,
the more relaxed she got. She reciprocated his kiss, wrapping her arms around
the back of his neck. With Shaheed’s hands finding their way beneath her shirt,
Raven started to have mixed thoughts, but Shaheed had already closed the
driver’s door and opened the rear passenger door thus thrusting Raven into the
back seat of the car. Climbing in on top of her and closing the door, he took a
brief moment to look at her. With no signs of resistance, Shaheed continued his
onslaught.
Removing Raven’s clothing, as well as
his, he licked and sucked on her, grasping her like a man who has been vastly
deprived. Their lips connected once again, and their tongues danced a forbidden
dance. Shaheed’s breathing became haphazard as Raven’s hand glided across his
crotch. Her hand seemed to have lengthened his penis as if it was a magical
wand of some sort. His mouth found its way to her ripened nipples as he sucked
and pulled on her breasts. She arched her back, pushing her breast further into
his mouth. She braced herself, her hand leaving his erection to dangle between
her thighs. The tension made them both feel like they could explode at that
very moment.
Raven squirmed in the seat, ready for
what was to come. Shaheed handled his massiveness, and led it into Raven’s
moistened vagina. She gasped deeply. There was no turning back. She gyrated and
he pumped as her hand found their way to his buttocks, pulling him into her,
each time harder than the previous. She missed this. She wanted and lusted for this.
There were no thoughts of Dwayne and the life that they had together, just
Shaheed and this sinful pleasure.
She was soft, wet, and extremely
heated. Shaheed altered his pace in order to keep from cumming. Raven put her
foot up on the head rest by the rear window and the other on the driver’s seat.
She moaned and cursed, urging him on, urging to reach her orgasm. Shaheed felt
the burning sensation to release, but he refused to do so until Raven had
gotten her satisfaction. His face frowning as he struggled to hold it in.
Raven’s body became stiff. She grasped the cloth like material of the car’s
interior. She trembled. Her toes curled, and she yelled out as she drenched Shaheed’s
penis with her ever flowing orgasm.
Shaheed slowed down a bit, but the
feeling was much too unbearable. He pumped harder and faster. The sounds of
slapping skin filled the car. He thrusted. The head of his penis had swollen to
enormous proportions. He thrusted even more and more until finally, he popped
off, spewing his load into her. His body collapsed and Raven held onto him as
the guilt began to set in.
Raven avoided Shaheed at all costs
after that, even going as far as to block his number from calling her phone.
She could not risk what happened that day in the back of her car to happen
again. She and Dwayne were on one accord, and she needed Shaheed out of her
system.
One particular morning, while at
work, Dwayne received a phone call from Raven. She was stuck at home. Her car
wasn’t starting, and she had an important luncheon that she needed to get to.
Dwayne stressed to her that it was not possible for him to leave work at this
time, but he will make sure that she gets to where she needs to be.
An hour later, Raven’s phone rings,
and it is Dwayne.
“I have someone coming to take you to
your luncheon. He’ll be there shortly.”
“Oh, thank you baby, I love you so
much. Muah!”
Raven ended the call before Dwayne
could say anything else. Her husband had come through in the clutch, and she was
extremely satisfied with relief.
Moments
later the doorbell rang. Raven answered on the second ring. Her mouth dropped
open when she saw Shaheed standing before her.
“What
are you doing here? You have to leave; I am expecting someone.” she screeched.
“I
know”, Shaheed replied, “I am the ‘someone’ that Dwayne sent to give you a ride
to wherever you need to go.”
“I
am not going anywhere with you Shaheed. I’d rather miss my appointment than to
be around you.”
“Raven
just come on. If it eases you, I have somewhere to be also. I’m going to drop
you off where you need to be, and your husband is going to pick you up.”
Raven
did not want to miss her luncheon, so she settled on going with Shaheed. The
ride was a quiet one until Shaheed reached over and placed his hand on Raven’s
thigh. Immediately she scorned him and slapped him. Shaheed was shocked, but
not as shocked as to what was bound to happen.
For
a brief moment, unable to stay focused because of the slap that had just
stunned his face, Shaheed did not notice another vehicle that ran a stop sign,
slamming into his car and striking it on the passenger side…….
Dwayne
rushed into the hospital room. “Baby, are you ok. Are you hurt? This is all my
fault.”
“Dwayne,
I’m fine. It’s just some minor cuts and bruises, nothing more to worry about.
The doctor will be back shortly.”
At that moment the door opened and
the doctor walks in. “Doc, is she going to be alright?”
“Yes, she is; and you are?” the
doctor asked.
“I’m her husband.”
“Mr. Dickson, your wife is fine.” The
doctor then looks towards Raven. “Mrs. Dickson, I will bring your discharge
papers so that you can be on your merry way. You may feel some pain and some
stiffness later, so I will prescribe something for you. Also, I will also advise
that for the sake of your child, you do not get into any more accidents.”
Raven looked puzzled. “Child? We have
no children.”
The doctor looked at Raven and
Dwayne. “Mrs. Dickson, you are three weeks pregnant.”
“Pregnant, are you sure?” Dwayne
asked.
“Yes, I double checked just to make
sure. Congratulations. Mrs. Dickson, I’ll be right back with your paperwork.”
Dwayne bent down and hugged Raven who
was laying in the hospital bed in disbelief. Putting her arms around him and
hugging him back, she stared into the eyes of a stunned Shaheed, who had been
quietly standing in the corner of the room, witnessing the whole interaction
between husband, wife, doctor, and soon to be CHILD…..
Uh oh. This is going to be interesting.
